About Pioneer Automatic Series
The Pioneer Automatic watch, a marvel of craftsmanship, seamlessly blended elegance with functionality. Its intricate gears not only told time but served as a compass. Adventure-ready, it embraced the wearer's wrist like a companion, a reliable navigator for explorations into the unknown.
In the grand symphony of time, the multifunctional Pioneer watch weaves threads of elegance and innovation. More than a mere accessory, it's the silent maestro orchestrating life's journey, a symphony of precision and versatility on every wrist.
The mainspring mechanism allows up to 80 hours of power reserve
The mechanical watch can be automatically wound during the normal wearing process. In general, it does not need to be manually wound. 80 hours of power reserve means that when the movement is fully wound, it can keep moving for about 80 hours while standing still. This power reserve is 1.8 times longer that of a general mechanical watch.
Mechanical Watches FAQ
1. What scene is men's tonneau watch suitable for?
It can be suitable for banquet or casual scenes, this tonneau men's watch is very distinctive and carries its manufacturing inspiration. It's valuable to wear it wherever you like
2. Can a tonneau men's watch touch hot water?
This is absolutely impossible. If you touch hot water, the movement inside will be damaged, and a lot of fog and condensation will be generated.
3. What is special about mechanical watches?
Mechanical watches are built to last a lifetime, and can even be passed down from generation to generation. Unlike quartz watches, which rely on a battery that needs to be replaced every few years, mechanical watches are powered by the energy stored in their mainspring.
4. Why My mechanical watch is running very fast?
Over time, the internal lubricants in a mechanical watch movement may migrate to the hairspring and cause it to stick. This could also be caused by dropping the watch, in which case, the hairspring is out of adjustment. Further, the watch may also have been exposed to a magnetic field, becoming magnetized. The mechanical watch should be overhauled.
5. When I wind my mechanical watch, it never stops winding.
This happens in true manual-wind watches and indicates the mainspring has broken. Automatics have a clutch so you can ‘feel’ when the mechanical watch is fully wound. The mainspring must be replaced in conjunction with a complete maintenance.
6. My automatic watch stops after I take it off ?
This is a very characteristic factor with an automatic watch and may be an indicator of a few problems. An automatic, or self-winding, watch requires a certain amount of physical activity of the wearer to wind fully. If the wearer is not sufficiently active, the automatic watch does not build up enough power to run. In rare cases, it could be that the mainspring has become worn, which sometimes happens after a few years. This is corrected by replacing the mainspring in conjunction with a complete maintenance.
7. How are they different from mechanical watches?
There are two types of mechanical watches: manual-winding watches and self-winding watches which also called automatic watches.
8. What is tonneau shaped watch?
A Tonneau watch means a watch with a barrel-shaped case. Different from traditional round or square cases, Wishdoit Watches exclusively designs tonneau watch for men.
9. Does an automatic mechanical watch have to be wound?
When you get the watch, you must first wind it 20 to 30 laps to keep it running and running all day. If an automatic watch is worn every day and subject to an average amount of hand motion, it will not need to also be wound manually. However, if you are preparing an automatic watch to be worn again after it has been left in storage for some time, simply shaking and setting it will not suffice. We therefore recommend that you wind the crown of your automatic wristwatch several times to support power supply before wearing it again.
10. Does my mechanical watch luminous at night?
Yes, The watch's luminous maintenance time is irradiated with bright light for half an hour, allowing the luminescent material within to absorb enough light energy to allow you to see the time clearly in the dark.
