Editorial Policy
This policy explains how WISHDOIT creates and maintains watch education content. It applies to buying guides, movement explainers, comparisons and care articles published on wishdoitwatches.com.
Accuracy and sources
We prioritize primary sources such as movement manufacturer specifications, official technical documents and our own published product specifications. When exact performance depends on a watch's assembly, regulation, battery, condition or use, we state that limitation rather than presenting a universal result.
Product and commercial transparency
WISHDOIT publishes educational content and also sells watches. Product links may lead to WISHDOIT collections or products. Inclusion does not replace a technical comparison: relevant movement, dimensions, materials, water-resistance rating, warranty and availability should be checked on the product page before purchase.
Safety and repair guidance
Articles distinguish low-risk checks from work that can damage a movement, compromise water resistance or require specialized tools. Readers should use a qualified watchmaker when a procedure involves opening the case, resealing, pressure testing or internal movement repair.
Updates and corrections
Articles are reviewed when specifications change, new source material becomes available or a reader identifies a possible error. Updated articles display a modified date. Corrections can be submitted to support@wishdoitwatches.com.
Authorship
Articles maintained collectively use the byline WISHDOIT Editorial Team. This byline identifies the accountable publishing team and does not imply an independent third-party review.
Effective and last reviewed: July 8, 2026.
